Modern Men

| Welcome MM fans! This site is still undergoing much development, but stick around and it will one day be flourishing. I promise. :) For now, please hangout in the forums and read the show news. |
FINALLY! | Thursday Feb 9 |
Ok we FINALLY have some solid and good news for Modern Men. The show will debut on March 17th (Friday) at 9:30pm. Not the IDEAL timeslot, but we'll have to work with it.
The problem is that the WB and UPN networks have decided to combine which means there is HEAVY competition for shows next year at the new CW network. So Modern Men needs to kick some serious television butt if we want to see a second season. Trailer |

Although the WB is being incredibly stingy with information on the show, I did find a decent tidbit about the show at an affiliate site. Check it out |
Bored...no new NEWS | Friday Dec 23 |
I am incredibly bored and there has been no new show news for what seems like AGES. If anyone has ANYTHING that I have not covered on the site then you better send it in! I feel like the WB is keeping me in the dark. Also, for those of you that are interested in seeing the PILOT, there may or may not be instructions in the forums on how to obtain a copy of the first episode. :)

Cast Switcheroos | Friday Dec 23 |
Awww..No more Wendie Malick. It would seem the rumors are indeed true. For some crazy reason ABC is renewing Jake in Progress and so Wendie is stuck on that doomed show and she cannot fulfill her duty on MM. I am totally bummed about this. The person who is replacing her is a rather strange choice...Jane Seymore! Yeah I know. Where did that come from? She was pretty dang funny in Wedding Crashers though, so perhaps she will do well on Modern Men. Oh and if you have not WC it is a DEFINITE must see! I'd love to hear what everything thinks about this HUGE change in the cast. So head on over to the forums.

How SEXY is too SEXY? | Friday Dec 23 |
The WB put out a press release a while back discussing their intent to realy hit broaden their scope as a network. I read this as they were going to try a lot of more "adult" dramas and the like. Well the ratings have not worked out well and it would seem the network may be abandoning this in favor of their bread & butter teen audience. This move is marked by the return of Beauty and the Geek as well as the promotion of Modern Men. Because of course this show targets the 18-24. I personally think this is a good strategy. Why not do what you do best? Read it yourself |
First Post! :) | Friday Dec 23 |
Modern Men TV is your one-stop-shop for everything about the new WB tv show. She show is due to air anywhere from January of 2006 to March. I was fortunate enough to watch the pilot episode (the first copy before it was re-shot) and I fell in love. It is really fun and for some reason it just clicked with me. So I put together this little site in hopes of finding other fans that like the show as well. I love to hear from other people to please email me.

Next Modern Men
The pilot episode should be very interesting. I've seen it of course (why else would I be making this site?). It is so fun!
Pilot
March 17th on WB
Doug, Kyle and Tim are best friends and have been since they were children. However they each have very different experiences with the opposite sex. Tim does pretty well but can never seem to make that special connection with a woman. Kyle is a player and can't stop running his games. And Doug is divorced and can't move on after his ex-wife. All three of them came to the conclusion that it is much more difficult nowadays to land a great woman. So they recruit some help. They hire a 'life coach' to help them become better man, and also land better girls.

Me :)
My name is Sam (girl, not guy). I am not old, and not young (a lady never tells). I work in marketing which I love. Although I don't do television work, I am trying to segway into that realm. I've been a fan of Modern Men since I saw the cast. And after the first episode I was in love.
